I have some special fonts that instead of regular letters, they contain
some logos or drawings. I couldn't use these fonts in KDE. KCharSelect
doesn't show correctly what the fonts really contain.
For testing purposes, the font files are here:

For example, the 'ibm 8bar Logo' font (ibm8bar.ttf) have the IBM logo
in the letter 'm'. The 'ibmeserver' font (ibmeserv.ttf) have some logos
in the chars '^' and '~'.

A curious thing is that Konqueror, in thumbnail mode, shows some correct 
content from the fonts file, as you can see in the screenshot at 
http://avi.alkalay.net/software/ibmfonts/bug/konq.png
